About Dr. Annie Rabinovitch, Ph.D. (Founder & Lead Psychologist)

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for over 10 years. I completed my Clinical Internship and Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and prior to that, received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.

I am passionate about working with children, teens, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and interpersonal issues. I adopt highly effective, evidence-based treatment approaches, which include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), mindfulness interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings, including nationally-recognized hospitals, schools, private practices, and community-based health clinics.

I firmly believe in using clinical research to inform practice, and actively incorporate newly-emerging trends into my clinical techniques. I have been involved in mental health research since 2012, and have published extensively in the areas of child development, parenting, and the impact of stress on individuals’ functioning, particularly among marginalized groups.

As a former collegiate basketball player, I enjoy staying active through hiking, skiing, and resistance training. I am also an avid cook on the constant lookout for new and creative recipes!

Services

Clinical Consultation

During this complimentary 15-minute telephone call, you will have an opportunity to share current concerns in detail, better understand services available, and determine goodness-of-fit between the client and provider.

Diagnostic Evaluation

$250

In our first meeting, I will work with you to evaluate different areas of functioning in your life and assess current issues. Typically lasting 75 minutes, this session allows us to collaboratively begin planning treatment, designed to meet your specific needs.

Individual Therapy

$125/30 minutes $180/60 minutes

This is a one-on-one session between the client and therapist. Among other benefits, therapy can help you to develop better tools for managing stress, gain clarification on a particular issue, deepen your self-understanding, and change unhelpful patterns of thinking or behaving.

Parent Consultation

$180/60 minutes

These parent-focused sessions aim to provide support as well as specific strategies to help parents/caregivers better address emotional and/or behavioral difficulties in their children. Parent consultations can be particularly helpful for caregivers of children or teens who are resistant to attending treatment sessions. Often, through parent consultation, caregivers are able to apply skills learned in-session to achieve positive changes with their children. Such sessions typically last 60 minutes.

Family Therapy

$225/60 minutes

This is a session between the therapist, the client, and at least one other family member (e.g., child, partner). Family therapy sessions are well-suited for discussing concerns that may be impacting specific relationships or overall family functioning. Common concerns targeted through family therapy may include the identification and exploration of communication issues, difficulty resolving conflict, trouble connecting with important family members, and co-parenting issues.

All services are provided out-of-network.

Payment is due at the time of service. Payment options include Credit card, Zelle, and PayPal.

Rates are agreed upon before we begin therapy. Cancellation notice is required within twenty-four hours prior to an appointment to avoid charges for a missed session.
